Biomass heating system for flower growing in the province of Lucca

Initial request

The customer is a pioneer flower growing company in Italy that has been operating for over 40 years. It contacted us with the request to differentiate the fuel to be free from using diesel and LSC and reduce energy consumption.

Developed project

To best meet the customer ‘s needs, we installed a 1000 kWt biomass heating system, powered by wood chips, and drew up an Operating Lease contract. This allowed the customer to reduce energy costs immediately, without initial costs or maintenance costs but only against payment of a periodic fee for the duration of the contract.

Results achieved

The biomass system that we installed has allowed the customer to achieve annual cost savings of €70,000.
